It's Palm Springs, Darlings

I went to Palms Springs in 2012. I ate. I drank. I vintage shopped. Jealous much?

First, if you're headed to Palm Springs soon, and you should be, consider staying at The Saguaro. Sure, you can stay at The Ace or The Parker, but they're pricey. Stay here. Eat at The Parker. And drink at The Ace.

If money is no object to you though, call me, and we'll get a couple of bungalows at The Parker. I'll bring the orange juice. You bring the Dom.

The Saguaro is a remodeled Holiday Inn or something. And it's the classic pool-in-the-center set up, which makes it perfect for this stunning rainbow treatment. Shockingly, the rooms look exactly like they do in the hotel's photos. And I can't strongly enough recommend the room service mimosas.

We were welcomed with this adorable plate of clementines. Just perfect, no?




We were lounging in style. It's hot as balls in Palm Springs, so bring your bikini.

This was the view from our balcony. Bocce anyone? Seriously, does anyone know how you play bocce?

I figured when in Palm Springs, dress like you're in Palm Springs. So I packed all the colored clothing I owned.

And then we shopped.

Strolled.

And saw the sights.
